Unable to close Microsoft Account because I cannot leave an inactive tenant (AADSTS5000225)

I cannot close my (non-primary) personal Microsoft account because the account is linked to an Azure AD tenant that has been blocked for inactivity. When I follow the “Leave organization” link, I get an error preventing me from leaving the tenant, so the account closure flow cannot proceed. - Issue details

- What I have tried
-Run Self-Diagnostics, which did not find any issue.
Diagnostic results: diagnostics.txt
-Signed out of all accounts and retried in a private/incognito browser window.
-Confirmed I have no admin access to the tenant and cannot reactivate it.
- What I need from Microsoft
I need Microsoft to either:
a. Reactivate or unblock the tenant so I can leave it myself.
However, the tenant is already inactive for 20+ days, probably even 2+ years.
or
b. Remove the organization association from my personal Microsoft account or otherwise allow the account closure to proceed without requiring me to sign in to that tenant. - Why this is needed
I want to permanently close my personal Microsoft account but cannot complete the closure until the tenant association is removed. I do not have any administrative access to the tenant and cannot perform tenant reactivation myself.
Please advise the next steps and whether you can remove the tenant association or escalate to the Entra/Azure AD team.

The error message you encountered indicates that your tenant has been inactive for over 200 days past the billing cycle, triggering Microsoft’s effort to remove inactive tenants. When a tenant remains inactive for this period, the OMS commerce system imposes a login block (AADSTS5000225). Twenty days after the login block is applied, the tenant is permanently deleted.
Tenant inaccessible due to inactivity
If you plan to unblock your inactive tenant, it’s essential that it has been blocked for less than 20 days. After the 20-day period, the tenant is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
If it has been less than 20 days since the block, please provide the following details for further assistance via private message:
- Tenant ID
- Email Address
- Correlation ID from the recent failure
- Timestamp from the recent failure
- Business impact and justification for restoring the tenant, and an explanation of the impact if the tenant cannot be restored
