Azure App Service is a service used to create and deploy scalable, mission-critical web apps.
HTTP 4XX Errors HTTP 4XX requests = 1003
I have been getting 4xx and 5xx errors. My website has been down couple of times and is not slow or some issue is there which is not letting my website open in mobile and tablet. on desktop also, the website loads very slowly. The media used on the website is not more than 2 MB in any section, except the hero is 5MB. It was not slow but since the crash, it has been crazy slow.

2025-12-31T02:48:24.3933333+00:00 Hello @Manjot Singh Aullakh
Thank you for your inputs on private message and email as well. We could you errors for 5xx from logs, and there are no on going issues with PHP. As per your recent email have shifted to Kadence on Wordpress from Elementor. Please let know if you have any further queries.

2025-12-31T03:36:17.08+00:00 Good to know that. Can we check my app server and its settings to know if there is someting wrong. i have tried running all possible diagnostics i could see and the settings i could change using microsoft guides. We need to find solution, as after after shifting to Kadence on wordpress from elementor, i am getting slow updates from the server. the content published in the editor is taking time to reflect (few tens of minutes).

2025-12-31T13:02:15.8833333+00:00 Hello @Manjot Singh Aullakh
We understand the severity. It looks You're using a custom Docker container to host your site, also could you please confirm if WordPress and Object Cache Plugins are installed?
In you query you mentioned about images and their sizes however I'm sharing the best practices below, please check all in accordance with your implementation and revert to us.
- Ensure App Service and Database are in the same datacenter.
- Optimize Database
- Compress Images
- Store media and static files in Azure Blob Storage.
- Compress Images using a plugin
- Use Azure CDN
- Turn off Pingback and Trackbacks
- Cache pages.
- Diagnose Theme and Plugin issues.
- Disable wp-cron.php
Also I could see many WP-Cron events, so in case if you're using plugins then could you also confirm whether all are updated and please check on scheduled tasks (if any).

2025-12-31T13:15:14.69+00:00 - Ensure App Service and Database are in the same datacenter. they are in the same region
- Optimize Database I have reset complete Wordpress and purged the database.
- Compress Images Been done by plugin. Enable Media.
- Store media and static files in Azure Blob Storage. The storage is managed by Wordpress. Database is installed in a blob storage, though I am not sure.
- Compress Images using a plugin Enable Media plugin
- Use Azure CDN i was using the same and was asked to move to AFD. Now you have to walk me through the process of reversing it.
- Turn off Pingback and Trackbacks Guide me through in Teams call.
- Cache pages. This is staging work going on. Hence Turned off cache.
- Diagnose Theme and Plugin issues. As I moved from elementor to kafence, I am using kadence theme now. All plugins are recently installed as of this week.
- Disable wp-cron.php Guide me

2026-01-01T10:53:48.0733333+00:00 Worst ever experience of Tech Support. I moved to microsoft Azure coz of the quick tech support. however, there seems to have gone something drastically wrong with Microsoft's way of handling customer queries. Without any resolution, i am forced to ask to close this ticket.
Surprising there is no Tech Support.
