Azure Custom Translator – Training Failed Repeatedly Across Regions

Hi Microsoft Support Team,

I’m having persistent issues training a Custom Translator model. I’ve attempted training three times, and all attempts failed after being stuck in the Training state for long periods.

Details:

• Attempt 1: Japan East – failed after ~3 days in Training
• Attempt 2: Japan East – failed after ~30 hours in Training
• Attempt 3: Japan West – failed after ~18 hours in Training
• Dataset size: Fewer than 11,000 sentences
• All data formats follow the Custom Translator requirements.

Since the failures occur across different regions and with a relatively small dataset, I’m unsure how to proceed. Could you advise on next steps or check if there are backend issues affecting training in these regions?
