Error code: AADSTS5000225, tenant has been blocked - unable to login to Azure Portal anymore

When trying to log in to Azure I'm getting following error:

Error message: AADSTS5000225: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity. To learn more about tenant lifecycle policies, see https://aka.ms/TenantLifecycle Trace ID: 0c3203ab-28f3-4941-8434-c9422bcb3500 Correlation ID: 35924686-6408-4c17-845a-2ac6ebf927c0 Timestamp: 2025-12-17 20:58:30Z

It has not been used for quite some time so if it isn't retrievable is it possible to have a new tenant linked to my account / email-address?

The error you received (AADSTS5000225) means your tenant has been marked as inactive. When a tenant is inactive for a long time, Microsoft applies a login block. If the block lasts more than 20 days, the tenant may be permanently deleted.

Tenant inaccessible due to inactivity

If the block has been in place for less than 20 days, we may be able to restore access by unblocking it. Please provide the following details via private message:

Tenant ID

Correlation ID from the login failure

Timestamp of the failure

Business impact and reason for restoring the tenant

Note: If this is a test or non-critical tenant, you can create a new one: Quickstart: Create a new tenant in Microsoft Entra ID

I'm pretty sure it hasn't been use within the last 20 days, so I guess it has been deleted already, but how can I create a new tenant. Trying to login to azure portal or enty I averytime get the error message again, without an option to create a new tenant.
