Copilot CSP to Copilot EA, how about the data and prompting history?

Hi All,

We currently have users assigned with Copilot for Microsoft 365 licenses under CSP. We plan to purchase new Copilot for Microsoft 365 licenses under an Enterprise Agreement (EA), prorated, and then reassign the users from the CSP licenses to the new EA licenses.

Could you please confirm the following:

1. When a user is moved from a CSP Copilot license to an EA Copilot license, will any Copilot data be affected?
2. Will the Copilot prompt history and conversation context remain intact after the license transition?
3. Is Copilot prompt history tied to the user identity and tenant, rather than the license type?
4. Are there any best practices or precautions recommended to ensure there is no data loss or service disruption during the transition?
