I’ve been using Microsoft products since MS‑DOS 5, and I wanted to share a set of ideas that I think could strengthen Windows and the broader ecosystem.
1. Windows 11 Lite A streamlined edition without telemetry, ads, widgets, or unnecessary background services. This would help users with older hardware, reduce e‑waste, and restore trust.
2. Optional AI Processing Modes Let users choose local, cloud, or hybrid AI. This would make Copilot more accessible and reduce hardware strain.
3. A Windows/Copilot Phone A hybrid device supporting:
Android apps
UWP
PWAs
Virtualized Win32
Cloud apps
Plus deep Windows desktop integration — install an app on one device, access it on both.
4. Copilot as a Technical Collaborator Its ability to explain, troubleshoot, and guide users is transformative.
5. Unified Gaming Across Windows and Xbox AI‑enhanced game-play, better accessibility, and a consistent ecosystem.
