AADSTS5000225 - Tenant Inactive

One of my tenants that I use for software testing has been set as inactive. This is probably not erroneous, because it has been a while since I used this directory, but I do need continued access to it.

I tried opening a support ticket, but it seems that I cannot - the support system simply says that a support page is available, and stops me from actually submitting.

The error you received (AADSTS5000225) means your tenant has been marked as inactive. When a tenant is inactive for a long time, Microsoft applies a login block. If the block lasts more than 20 days, the tenant may be permanently deleted.

Tenant inaccessible due to inactivity

If the block has been in place for less than 20 days, we may be able to restore access by unblocking it. Please provide the following details via private message:

Tenant ID

Email address used to sign in

Correlation ID from the login failure

Timestamp of the failure

Business impact and reason for restoring the tenant

Note: If this is a test or non-critical tenant, you can create a new one: Quickstart: Create a new tenant in Microsoft Entra ID
