How do I restore my Windows 11 taskbar?

I'm just starting to use my new Windows 11 Laptop... At first the 'Taskbar' was displaying normally, at the bottom of the screen. But, several days ago, it disappeared and no longer displays at all. I just re-updated my Windows installation, and re-started the laptop, but the 'Taskbar' still is not displaying. I can't see any basic Setting that would restore, or affect the 'Taskbar' display at all...

If your Windows 11 taskbar is not displaying, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check Taskbar Settings: Right-click on the desktop and select Personalize. Then navigate to Taskbar settings to ensure that the taskbar is set to be visible.
    2. Auto-hide Feature: It's possible that the taskbar is set to auto-hide. Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen to see if it appears. If it does, you can change this setting in Settings > Personalization > Taskbar by toggling off the auto-hide feature.
    3. Restart Windows Explorer: Sometimes, restarting Windows Explorer can resolve display issues. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), find Windows Explorer in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.
    4. Clear Icon Cache: If the taskbar icons are not displaying correctly, clearing the icon cache may help. You can do this by following the steps to clear the icon cache as mentioned in the troubleshooting guidelines.
    5. Register Shell Experience Host: Open Windows PowerShell as an administrator and run the command to re-register the Shell Experience Host, which can resolve issues with taskbar display.
    6. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can sometimes cause display issues.

If none of these steps work, consider checking for any Windows updates or performing a system restore to a point when the taskbar was functioning correctly.

    Hii ,

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Then perform a clean boot and if you want to uninstall applications that you do not use.

Open Task Manager > Seach on Windows Explorer > Right-click on Mouse select Restart.

If you are using the "hide taskbar" function, please let me know, as it doesn't appear when that option is enabled.

Give feedback if the information was useful or not.

    Thanks
