Azure Portal authentication death spiral

THIS IS NOT AN AZURE ADVISOR QUESTION. It is an EntraID/Azure Portal authentication problem.

Everything was working right as rain from my Mac... and then some sort of pass key thing happened and now I get lost in an authentication death spiral on the mac with both my @live.com ID and my admin ID for my Azure subscriptions on my mac.

48 hours later, it now seems to be (sort of) happening on my PC. I'm worried because I don't want to loose access to my Azure account.

What changed and how do I get this back to a simple username/password + Authenticator situation?

Is this due to something I did, or did something change inside of Azure and/or MacOS that blew things up? I got really worried today when my PC started acting strange, too.

P.S., the signin logs in EntraID for my personal (Global Admin) account say "Interrupted" with a 50074 error code.

Here's the log file... PII and sensitive information removed. If you want me to change anything with this user, I'd like to know the right way to create another user account with Global Admin rights (same as this one) so that I can ensure there is a break-the-glass account I can get into. Thanks!
