Is it possible to have Microsoft Word for Android auto detect keyboard language?

In Microsoft Word for Windows, when I switch between my 3 keyboard anguages, input language switches accordingly. Is there a way to have this functionality in Android?

Hi D,

You understood it correctly. On Word for Android, the proofing (spell‑check) language doesn’t auto‑switch based on your keyboard or the text you’re typing. Unlike Word for Windows (which can auto‑detect or follow input language), the Android app uses the document/selection’s proofing language setting until you change it manually.

Thank you Carlo. Until this functionality is implemented, Word for Android is not suitable as a productivity tool for my workflow as a translator. I need to find something else.

But Word's proofreading language stays the same, unless I go into the menus and change it manually, which is not very practical. So this functionality of detecting the language from the keyboard or from the text input is not yet there in Android if I understand correctly?
