Since you didn’t specify your account type or the error code, I’ll base my response on the issue tag and your description in the initial post. If you’re using a personal account (Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook.com) or are seeing a different error code, please let me know so I can provide more accurate guidance

    Hi @Athena Villanueva,

Thank you for posting your question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

The error “Sorry, but we're having trouble signing you in. Invalid request. Context is missing.” is typically AADSTS165000. It means that the login process failed because necessary session information like cookies, form data, or headers weren’t correctly passed through the authentication flow.

    1.Clear Corrupted Cookies or Cache

    • Remove cookies and cached data from your browser or the device where you're signing in.
    • Alternatively, use an incognito/private window.
    • For iOS, usually it's on Safari. Go to Settings > Apps > Safari.
    • User's image
    1. Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.

Confirm the timeframe that you want to clear, then tap Clear History.

    1. Clear App Data Corruption:

For Office apps like PowerPoint, Word, you can go to the app settings and clear its cache by "Clear All document" and "Delete Sign-in Credentials Manager"

On iPads or macOS, the session may fail due to blocked cookies or SSO flow interruptions.

Pleas make sure date/time settings are correct (auto-set timezone) and ensure your device or browser isn't blocking third-party cookies.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation
