Dear Microsoft, until now we were able to use the Edge pdf reader to correct the homework submitted by students. Now, if we write on the document, the file size increases significantly, making the work impossible. What can be done to make saving work as before, without any significant increase in size?

As of yesterday I was able to add text into Microsoft Edge pdf's with very little file size increase. Now just a few lines of text (20-30 characters) results in a file size increase from 66KB to 57,000KB meaning they can't be emailed without a link. Help please! I've tried saving as a separate file after adding text but same result.
