MS Lists - when using a Smartphone input form, the screen jumps to the top of the form after manual numeric/text input fieldsin MS-Lists

1. It's a company account using Business 365.
2. The input form was created via the native MS-Lists 'Forms' option. This opens in smartphone web browser (giving a similar UI experience to that provided by MS-Forms).
3. Through further investigation I've concluded that it's caused by the first input field with a drop down menu. As I've a drop-down near the top of the screen, this seems to be an anchor for jump backs, causing that field to be re-selected after each of the other fields are inputted.
4. As a work-around, I found that changing the drop-down to a radio button field resolves the problem
5. However, I also need to accommodate a drop down with multiple selections. This type of field can't be done with radio buttons (an MS-Lists constraint). The only thing I could do was move this field to the bottom of the form (to minimise jump backs).
6. The form is purely sequential with no branching. I did trial 'hardcoding' branching to the next numbered step rather than the default 'Next'. This made no difference.
7. I've updated to iOS 26.1 and cleared the cache. Made no difference.
8. Whilst I've a work-around using radio buttons, I don't want to redesign all MS-Lists forms. We need a proper solution (this is a new issue for me, on forms I've been using for 3-4 months).

Since this is a company Business 365 account and you’ve already exhausted the usual troubleshooting steps. Microsoft’s support team will need to step in. A technical support engineer can perform a remote session to investigate the situation verify the backend configurations, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the problem. If the issue requires further attention, they can escalate it to a specialized team for deeper analysis. 

Please have the IT admin in your organization to create a service request with Microsoft support to get advanced technical assistance and diagnostics. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.

Before raising support ticket, you can also try adding a new item using the official Microsoft Lists mobile app (the separate app, not the browser) on the phone. A lot of the scrolling behaviour is completely different in the app compared to the browser

1. my understanding is that the MS-Lists mobile App has been retired by microsoft (Nov'25) and requires users to move to the iOS/android web browsers. Incidentally, this leaves us all with a very poor UI for navigating through the main Lists portal....but that's a fight for another day.
2. In my set-up, we're using the MS-Lists equivalent of MS-Forms for inputting new items (not for editing them). This allows users within my organisation to use their smartphone to submit new Lists items without needing an App....they just follow a link or scan a QR code to link to the input form.
