Microsoft project management software used to plan, manage, and communicate a project schedule and other information among workgroup members, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Hi @Varghese, Ajith (Cognizant),
Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, Microsoft trials for Project Plan 3 (now Planner & Project Plan 3) are designed for business tenants only and cannot be activated on a personal Microsoft account (consumer tenant). This is why you’re seeing the error message.
To proceed, here are your options:
1/ Use a business tenant:
If you have access to a Microsoft 365 business account, you can start the trial there. Your admin can enable self-service trials in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
2/ Create a Microsoft 365 Business tenant:
If you don’t have one, you can sign up for a Microsoft 365 Business trial, then activate Project Plan 3 within that tenant and sign up for Microsoft 365 Business.
Unfortunately, there is no supported way to enable this trial on a personal account, as the licensing and features are tied to organizational tenants.
I hope my information helps. Please reach out again if you have any questions or need further assistance. I'm always happy to help.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
