Student account unable to sign in

I am a student and I created a free account in https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/ in order to have access to its services.
Anytime I tried to log in but anytime I entered the code from Authenticator it shows an error message:

When I contacted my Uni they said that it seems there is a duplication problem.
My institution mentioned later that as a student, I already had all the licenses needed to use Microsoft products, and probably I didn't need to create an account.
They told me I needed to contact Microsoft for support.

Hello Amelia,

Based on your description, it appears that you are unable to log into the Azure Portal due to an incomplete MFA process.

To fix this issue, you need to reset MFA on affected user account by logging in with another global administrator account into that tenant.

Please share the following steps with another Global Administrator in the tenant to reset your MFA settings:

Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center as an Authentication Administrator (or higher).

Navigate to Identity > Users > All users.

Select the affected user, then choose Authentication methods.

At the top of the window, click on "Require re-register MFA".

After this is done, you should be able to sign in again and register a new MFA authentication method when prompted.

I am still unable to get in.

This is my universities reply:
We have an Azure tenant different from the free one, you registered another instance of your account also in the free Azure Platform, so you have duplicated the entry. We can't operate on Azure Free Platform and we don't have activated the MFA for Microsoft Accounts
