Why I am unable to create Synthesia gallery application

Hello,

When I am trying to create a gallery application name called Synthesia the option to create is grade out. I have enought permissions to create a application, I have tested by creating for other application I was able to create with out any issue.

Can you explain why it is not letting us to create an appllication.

The Create button is greyed out for the Synthesia gallery app by design and not because of permission issues. Although Synthesia appears in the Microsoft Entra App Gallery, it is published only as a Linked Sign-On (bookmark) app and does not have a Microsoft-managed SSO or provisioning template. Because of this, the app cannot be created directly from the gallery. This is expected behavior even for Global Administrators.

To enable SSO for Synthesia, you need to create it as a Non-Gallery Enterprise Application:

Go to Microsoft Entra ID → Enterprise Applications → New Application

Select Create your own application

Choose Integrate any other application you don’t find in the gallery (Non-gallery)

Create the app and configure SAML manually using the details provided by Synthesia through their WorkOS setup

Assign users and test access
