On Nov 7th it was announced that "Smart App Control" can now be turned on without having to do a clean install of windows. I'm still not seeing that option... Anyone able to do this yet?

Says the April 2026 update “makes changes to Smart App Control to manage the feature without reinstallation.”

This is exactly the feature Microsoft previously paused — and now it’s back.

Microsoft originally pulled the SAC toggle because:
telemetry wasn’t strong enough
too many false positives
enterprise complaints
baseline logic wasn’t ready
But now, with the April 2026 update:
