A private one-on-one chat feature within the GroupMe app that allows users to communicate outside of group conversations.
Hi Eben van Heerden,
Good Day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your GroupMe (Windows), here are some things to check and possible fixes.
A. Use your Web Sign-in Link:
- Visit https://web.groupme.com/signin
- Try this in different browsers like Egde, Chrome, Firefox etc. and in incognito or private mode.
B. Sign-In Using Microsoft Account (if possible).
- If GroupMe account is tied to a Microsoft Account, ensure to use the "Sign in with Microsoft" as an option.
- You can only have one account associated with a given phone number.
C. Clear Browser cache
- Sometimes browser cache or cookies mess-up with login flows. Try to clear them and login using incognito window.
D. Reinstall the GroupMe Windows App
- Uninstall GroupMe on your PC.
- Reboot PC.
- Redownload GroupMe from MS Store and install it again.
- Try to Sign-in Again.
E. Reset Password
- On your Phone (iOS) open your GroupMe app > Go to Sign in > Choose forgot Password.
- Use the reset link you get via email to set a new password.
- Try signing in on Windows app again with the new password.
F. Contact GroupMe Support.
- If login loops persists reach out to GroupMe support.
I hope this helps
Regards,
Jhun
