Graphic export options are limited in PowerPoint for iPad, and JPEG format is not directly available.

If your presentation is on OneDrive, you can open it in PowerPoint for the web in a browser. Then use File>Save As>Download as Images to save the presentation as a set of JPEG files. Then pick the one for the slide you want and discard the rest.

In PowerPoint for iPad, you can tap on the down-pointing arrowhead button beside the file name (upper left corner), then choose Export and save the file as a PDF. Some applications (like PowerPoint for Mac) accept PDF as a picture format. Or you can use third-party software or a conversion web site to convert to JPEG.

You can also tap on the three-dot icon at the right end of the Ribbon, then choose Create GIF. This is make an animated GIF. You can use this as an ordinary graphic in apps that don't play the animation, like Word for iPad. Or you can convert to another format using third-party software or a file conversion web site.

For more format options, use a desktop edition of PowerPoint for Windows or for Mac.

    I apologize, I presented a solution that is being used on Windows, but in the case of iPad, you can open the PowerPoint file in Keynote and export it as an image, as explained in the link below:

    Hi ,

    You can follow the procedure below.

    Open file slide on Powerpoint

    1. Select File > Save As (or Save a Copy if your presentation is saved on OneDrive or SharePoint). Navigate to the folder where you want to save your slide.
    2. Type the name of your slide image in the File name text box.
    3. Select to open the Save as Type drop-down menu. Select one of the following image formats for your slide.
      • JPEG File Interchange Format (.jpg)
      • PNG Portable Network Graphics Format (.png)
      • GIF Graphics Interchange Format (.gif)
      • Scalable Vector Graphics Format (.svg)
      In the Save As dialog box, identify the type of file you want your slide saved as.

    Select Save. Review the PowerPoint dialog box and select Just This One to save your selected slide as an image.

    When you are asked which slide you want to export, click Just This One.
