Entra External ID - disable Keep me signed in (KMSI)

Hi,

I want to disable KMSI on External ID. According to this doco its available

But when you follow the instructions its clearly for Entra (not external id)

and going to the documented "user settings" is NOT available in Entra External ID

Are you able to disable KMSI???

Thanks for reaching out!

This behavior is by design. The “Keep me signed in (KMSI)” option isn’t currently supported in Microsoft Entra External ID (CIAM) tenants. The documentation refers to the standard Entra ID experience, which is why the “User settings” page isn’t available in CIAM.

The product group is aware of this and working to make it available in the future, but there are no details or timelines yet.

I’ll share this feedback with the documentation team so the information can be clarified in the official docs.
