Teams Meeting Background- won't remove

My background is stuck on a greenscreen with a pastel background. No matter what I do I can't seem to remove it. Please advise.

Are you using Windows or macOS?
Is this happening on the desktop app only or also on the web version https://teams.microsoft.com/?
Is the green screen showing when you select a custom image, blur, or default background?

In the meantime, kindly try the following suggestions to check what might have caused the issue:

Update Teams
- Please ensure that you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams
- You could do it via Settings > About Teams > Version or update via your app store
Quit Teams completely and clear Teams cache

Test in Web Version: Kindly sign in at https://teams.microsoft.com and check if the issue persists
Reinstall Teams: Uninstall and reinstall the app if none of the above works

I am on a Mac. This only happens on this Mac. The web version is good to go with no background. I see the pastel background with blur.

When I switch to a webcam and not the FT camera, I still get the pastel background.

If you are using FaceTime camera with your Mac, then check background settings in your camera.

I have never even signed into my FT camera to date on my Laptop.

Based on the screenshot you sent me, it seems like the chosen camera is FaceTime HD Camera.

Are there any other options for your camera that you could use and let me know if the issue persists?

Could you please help me check in Teams Settings > Devices > Scroll down to Video, it should show how you appear on the camera, is the background normal there or it still shows the pink background?

Please try switching between your FaceTime camera and the webcam as well and let me know so I could have more information on your situation with Teams background.

Sorry Julie, I see the pinkish background in these settings as well. I turned all the video settings on and off, but it didn't change anything.

As you recommended I am using the webversion for now, however I cannot use breakout groups in this version and I am running online book studies. I'd really like this background removed. Any ideas yet?

I went through my IT admin prior to contacting you. He, the Tech Director, couldn't figure out why it is stuck on this background either.
