Teams Meeting Background- won't remove

My background is stuck on a greenscreen with a pastel background. No matter what I do I can't seem to remove it. Please advise.

    If you are using FaceTime camera with your Mac, then check background settings in your camera.

    I went through my IT admin prior to contacting you. He, the Tech Director, couldn't figure out why it is stuck on this background either.

    As you recommended I am using the webversion for now, however I cannot use breakout groups in this version and I am running online book studies. I'd really like this background removed. Any ideas yet?

    • Are you using Windows or macOS?
    • Is this happening on the desktop app only or also on the web version https://teams.microsoft.com/?
    • Is the green screen showing when you select a custom image, blur, or default background?

    In the meantime, kindly try the following suggestions to check what might have caused the issue:

    • Update Teams
      • Please ensure that you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams
      • You could do it via Settings > About Teams > Version or update via your app store
      • User's image
    • Quit Teams completely and clear Teams cache
    • Test in Web Version: Kindly sign in at https://teams.microsoft.com and check if the issue persists
    • Reinstall Teams: Uninstall and reinstall the app if none of the above works
