Message: AADSTS50020: User account '<PII removed>' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant '<PII removed>' and cannot access the application '<PII removed>'(Office 365 SharePoint Online) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

    From the message you provided, it seems like the account trying to access SharePoint is an external account, which mean the user is not a member of your tenant.

    So, they will not have permission to access your SharePoint sites and contents.

    You'll need to add that user as guest user in your tenant.

    Please follow the steps here:

    This will grant the permission so that external user can access internal data.
