To get Microsoft Word on your iPad, you can download the Office Mobile app from the App Store. Here are the steps to do so:

    1. Open the App Store on your iPad.
    2. Search for "Microsoft Word" in the search bar.
    3. Download the app. It is available for free, but you will need a Microsoft 365 subscription to access all features.
    4. Once downloaded, open the app and sign in with your Microsoft account that has the Office subscription.
    5. You can now create and edit documents on your iPad.

If you encounter any issues while trying to install or access Microsoft Word, ensure that your iPad is compatible and that you are using the correct Microsoft account credentials.

    Dear @Thao,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

If you've purchased Microsoft Office Word and want to use it on your iPad, there are two main ways to access it:

Option 1: Install Word directly from the App Store

You can download the Microsoft Word app for iPad here: Download Microsoft Word for iPad

    After installing:

    • Open the app
    • Sign in with the Microsoft account you used to purchase the software
    • Your subscription should activate automatically

If Word doesn’t recognize your purchase, Sign in to your account to confirm your subscription status.

Option 2: Use Microsoft Copilot app

You can also access Word and other Office apps through the Microsoft Copilot app, which integrates AI assistance and supports document editing via Microsoft 365 services.

Download Copilot here: Microsoft Copilot for iPad

    Once installed:

    • Sign in with your Microsoft account
    • You can open, edit, and create Word documents directly within the app
    • This is especially useful if you’re working across devices or using AI features to assist with writing
