Hello, my Microsoft account ing*****@outlook.com is locked. I completed the verification flow and the account recovery form, but the account remains locked. I need an account-security review and escalation. I can provide proof of ownership: the full account creation date (approximate), recent email subjects I sent/received, names of folders I created, last used IP/city (if known), and last device used to sign in. Please escalate this to the account-security team and give a case/reference number for follow-up. Thank you.

If your Microsoft account is locked and you have already completed the verification flow and the account recovery form, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: Since your account remains locked, it's essential to reach out to Microsoft support directly. They can assist you further and may escalate your case if necessary.
    2. Prepare Proof of Ownership: When you contact support, be ready to provide details that prove your ownership of the account, such as:
      • Approximate account creation date
      • Recent email subjects you sent or received
      • Names of folders you created
      • Last used IP address or city (if known)
      • Last device used to sign in
    3. Request a Case/Reference Number: When you speak with support, ask for a case or reference number for your inquiry. This will help you follow up on the status of your request.

Unfortunately, I cannot escalate your case or provide a case/reference number myself, as this requires direct interaction with Microsoft support.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

I understand how important recovering your account is to you.

Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

It's important to note that Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account, you will be sent back to the Account Recovery pages that have been linked above.

Detailed steps on how to use the Account Recovery Form can be found here: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form

Alternatively, you can submit an appeal directly to the Microsoft team if you believe your account has been suspended in error. You may appeal the suspension by providing the information requested below. Microsoft will review your appeal according to its policies and send any updates or questions to the email address you provide.
