Front door provisioning state failed after putting a Traffic Manager between DNS server and front door
Dear team,
After a week struggleling with Front Door (probably not the only ones :-)) due to the global outage, today it seems to recover again.
Following your recomendations (Azure) we put a Traffic Manager previous to Front Door in order to bypass it.
We switched the endpoint on our DNS to point to the traffic manager and from there to a Load Balancer.
After Front Door has recovered activity , we have created a new endpoint on The traffic manager pointing to FD. (This solution has always been avoided by Azure).
So now that we are pointing to FD from the TM the provisioning status on our origin in Front door shows "Failed".
So our question is related to this. Why our provisioning status went to failed on the origin after configuring a traffic manager previous to front door?
The interesting part here is that the application is working even though the failed status, but we are obviously not confortable with this configuration.
May you please give us a hand and put some light in this?
Thank you
Humberto
