Why is Outlook making new files and sending EMAILs there instead of where I move them to? Or worse when I move them they are gone? Why am I losing huge swaths of EMAILs that I don't even know about until I go to look for something and completely gone?

I have been using Hotmail since it started and even though everyone recommended change to GMAIL, I didn't. Big Mistake on my part!. Hotmail/Outlook has so seriously eroded that it is no longer reliable at keeping EMAILs, transferring them to other files for "identity" type storage or even maintaining EMAILs, yet when I try to google search for answers there are vague suggestions but nothing to tell us how to REALLY fix these problems nor what to now do when we have just lost so much data. I believe I am truly going to have to take the laborious time to try and transfer files I have left, too many to count like everyone else to GMAIL. At least be truthful Microsoft/Hotmail/Outlook, if you have no intent or plans to actually fix this EMAIL system then tell all of your loyal customers so that we can find alternate and reliable service elsewhere. In todays world having reliable EMAIL as a messaging system is huge, STOP with the games these past years and just let us know, are you going to fix this system or not? If you don't know how or you don't have the people or whatever, just be honest and let us know instead of treating us like idiots (which I may be for putting up with this for so long).
