I am having so much difficulty trying to cancel my MS Teams subscription as it seems unable to locate my account.

I've tried everything, when I try to sign in, it says type in the code from the authenticator app, however I am not receiving any codes despite my settings allowing notifications.

Can someone kindly please help me?

    Hi @Caroline

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulty accessing your account and canceling your Microsoft Teams subscription.

Regarding the issue with the Authenticator app not sending codes, this could be due to a number of reasons, such as device changes or notification settings. Once we confirm the type of account and subscription, I can guide you to the most appropriate recovery or support path.

To better assist you, could you please help me with a few details?

    • Are you using a personal Microsoft account (e.g., Outlook.com, Hotmail.com) or a work/school account provided by an organization?
    • Do you recall the exact name of the Teams subscription you purchased (e.g., Microsoft Teams Essentials, Microsoft 365 Business Standard, etc.)?
    • Was the subscription purchased directly through the Microsoft website, via a third-party provider, or through the Microsoft 365 admin center?
    • Could you please provide the email addresses associated with the subscriptions?
    • What is the exact error message you receive when attempting to sign in to your business account?

This will help us better understand the context and provide more targeted support. Any additional information will help us better understand and support you.

To help ensure your personal information remains protected, please feel free to share the details with me via private message. This will allow me to review the situation more securely and with appropriate context.User's image

Once we have these details, we’ll be able to proceed with a thorough review and follow up accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we’ll make sure this is handled as quickly as possible.

I'm looking forward to your reply.
