I wanted to reschedule my exam AZ104. But I'm unable to do it.

In your Learn profile https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/credentials/?tab=credentials-tab you can reschedule the exam yourself if it is more than 24 hours before your exam appointment

Hi, my certification mb-820 has been expired since July 6th. Due to personal issues and overall stress I totally missed to renew my certification and was hoping that I can somehow plea to microsoft to enable the renewal process for me, so that my employer doesn't have to pay again due to my personal issues. And since it hasn't been expired for that long, I was hoping that this might be possible somehow. I know this isn't the right place, but didn't know where to contact Microsoft to ask for a renewal opportunity. Thx in advance.

Do not reply to old questions - things change and and information in them can be wrong

As for your renewal, the renewal period is open for 180 days before your expiry date. The renewal window cannot be extended or reopened. There are no exceptions.

Check where you booked the exam:

If through Pearson VUE → go to https://www.pearsonvue.com/microsoft → Sign in → “View Exams” → choose your AZ-104 exam → click Reschedule.
If through Certiport → visit https://www.certiport.com → “My Tests” → find the AZ-104 exam → check reschedule options.

Check time limits:
- You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.
- If less than 24 hours remain, the system will block rescheduling — you’ll need to contact support.
Contact Microsoft Certification Support:
- Go to https://aka.ms/MCPForum
- Or use the direct support form: https://aka.ms/ExamRegistrationHelp
When contacting support, include:
- Full name (as in your Microsoft profile)
- Exam name and code: AZ-104
- Exam date/time and registration ID
- Screenshot or description of the error (if any)
