Hi,
Could you tell me what happens when you power on your PC, do you notice any lights turning on or hear the fans spinning? Also, are there any beeps or LED indicators showing up on your motherboard or monitor that might hint at a hardware issue? And lastly, does your PC have an integrated graphics port, like an HDMI or VGA connection on the motherboard, that you could try plugging the monitor into to see if it displays anything?
You can also try this first unplugging your PC from power and holding the power button for about 10–15 seconds to fully discharge it, which can clear any temporary hardware freeze after a forced shutdown. Reconnect only the power and monitor cables, then turn the PC back on and make sure the monitor’s input source (HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA) matches the cable you’re using. If the screen is still black, test the monitor on another device or connect a different monitor or TV to your PC, this helps identify whether the issue is with the monitor or the computer itself. If your PC powers on but you hear no startup sounds or see no lights, it may not be booting properly, possibly due to a graphics or power issue. You can also plug your monitor into the motherboard’s built-in video port if you normally use a graphics card, to rule out GPU failure.
Kind Regards,
