I accidentally deleted file explorer from my taskbar and now I can't find it. It does not show in the search list. where is it so I can put it back on the taskbar?

Please press the Windows key + E and see if File Explorer opens. If it opens, right-click on the File Explorer icon on the taskbar and then select 'Pin to taskbar'.

I still don't see the icon when I am in file explorer. Just trying to open to windows on the screen.
