Stop Microsoft Defender Nag Screen

How do I stop this nag screen? It pops up at least daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I have notifications turned off, but I get it all the time.

Thank you for reaching out.
The notification “You have saved alerts to review” and a badge on Alerts and history usually indicates that an alert was generated and marked for review.
Turning off normal notifications doesn’t stop this because these alerts controlled by Defender’s own settings.
Have you tried checking the alert History to see alerts shown? if it shows “No alerts” even though the badge count is non-zero. it might mean that the alert state is cached incorrectly or the UI doesn’t refresh after the alert is resolved or dismissed.
How to Fix or Verify

Refresh Filters

In the Alerts page, set the filter to All or Resolved to confirm if the alert was closed.

Clear Cached State

Restart the Defender app

Update Defender

Ensure you have the latest Defender platform and intelligence updates.

Check Purview or Security & Compliance Center

If using Microsoft 365 alerts, verify in Purview portal under Data Loss Prevention or Cloud App Security alerts.

In the Alerts page, set the filter to All or Resolved to confirm if the alert was closed.

Where is the alerts page? If I click the Alerts and History button, there is no filter and alerts always shows "No Alerts"

I've never heard of Purview, so don't think that is a factor. When I type Security & Compliance Center into windows search, nothing comes up except web search results, so not sure how to get there.

I've restarted defender and my computer multiple times, no change. I've ran all windows updates and suggested updates, no change.

Any other ideas would be great.
