I already have a function app, provide steps to setup HTTPs function inside it.

Hello Sharma, Ritika

Thanks for reaching out on Microsoft Q&A and really appreciate your patience while we looked into this.

Understand from description that you are trying to set up an HTTP function (like a URL Shortener function) inside your existing Azure Function App.

Steps

1. Navigate to Your Function App:
   • Go to the Azure portal and find your Function App.
   Create a New Function:
   • In the Function App, go to the Overview section.
     • Click the + Create button under the Functions section. If you don't see this button, you might need to create your functions locally.
     Select an HTTP Trigger Template:
   • You'll be prompted to choose a template. Scroll down and select the HTTP trigger template.
2. Configure the Template Details:
   • For the New Function name, you can use something like HttpExample.
   • Set the Authorization level to Anonymous or whatever suits your security needs.
   • Click Create.

Now, Azure will create the HTTP trigger function for you. You can run it by sending an HTTP request to the generated URL.

I hope this helps in resolving the issue, do let me know if you have any further questions on this.

Thanks
