I recently had to do a complete rebuild of my PC which was running W11 Pro.
I'm now stuck with W11 Home. I thought that the activation codes were kept online - is there a way that I can get Pro back?

Where did you buy Pro edition. Was it full retail using a product key or the upgrade from Home to Pro from the windows Store?
If you have Home edition activated now and it was the Pro upgrade you bought then making sure you are offline. Go to Change product key (in Settings) and enter the generic Pro product key VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T follow any onscreen instructions then restart. Go back online, sign-in using the account that bought the licence and Pro should activate.
