Microsoft App Store is an abomination to the first rule of Internet

The first rule of internet downloads is to assume that everything downloaded can be infected with malware. Yet, the MS Store provides no means of verifying a package prior to installing it instead forcing Users to "Trust Us, we know what we're doing." Then, the MS Store provides disclaimers stating that the responsibility is still NOT on them and is forced back onto the User. In effect, telling their customers to bend over and think of England.

This model is just WRONG and I want an alternative to MS's position of absolute trust bundled with no responsibility.
