“Request for API or COM method used by Settings to trigger taskbar color refresh without restarting Explorer”

I’m reverse-engineering the taskbar color refresh logic in Windows 11. I’ve successfully edited the AccentPalette registry keys and called DwmSetColorizationParameters, but the taskbar doesn’t update unless Explorer is restarted.

However, when I change the accent color via Settings, the taskbar updates instantly—no restart, no side effects.

Could Microsoft share the internal API, COM interface, or shell event that Settings uses to trigger this repaint? I’d like to replicate this behavior programmatically without restarting Explorer.
