    Hello!

    I'm Yasllame.

I'm happy to help and clarify.

You're right — the Notes Master in PowerPoint works differently than the Slide Master.

Slide Master controls the layout, fonts, and styles across your slides.

Notes Master controls how the printed or presenter notes pages look (not the slides themselves).

That’s why changing the font in the Notes Master won’t automatically apply it to all slide text — it only affects the notes pages.

If you want every slide to use the same font, you should set that in the Slide Master instead. Go to View > Slide Master, select the top master slide, and set the font there. That will cascade to all layouts and slides (unless you’ve manually overridden fonts on specific slides).

If some slides still don’t change, it means they have custom formatting applied directly. In that case, you’d need to reset those slides (Home > Reset) or manually clear the font overrides so they pick up the Slide Master formatting.

I hope this information was helpful! If you need anything else, I'm here.

    Sincerely,

    Yasllame
