    Hi,

I’ve run into this before and it usually comes down to how the display is set up. PowerPoint’s Presenter View only works right if your computer is set to extend the screen, not duplicate or second-screen only. Once that’s set, go into the Slide Show tab, tick "Use Presenter View," and make sure the TV is chosen as the monitor for your slides if PowerPoint picks the wrong one, you’ll just see black. A flaky HDMI/adapter can also cause the blank screen, so swapping cables is worth a quick try, and updating your graphics driver can sometimes clear it up too. Just a heads-up: the Notes Master only changes how notes look when you print or export, so it won’t change what you see in Presenter View.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

If Presenter View goes blank on your TV, it’s usually because of how PowerPoint handles displays after recent updates. Instead of duplicating screens, it now works best with extended displays: set your computer to extend the desktop, then in PowerPoint’s Slide Show tab, enable Presenter View and select the TV as the slides monitor. This ensures your notes appear on your laptop while slides show on the TV. Check your HDMI or adapter in case of connection issues, and update your graphics driver if it hasn’t been refreshed recently. Keep in mind that Notes Master only appears correctly in Presenter View when using an extended screen, not in duplicate mode.

    Kind regards,
