I get error problem accessing fonts when install QuickBooks Pro -solved for win11
Running setup in compatibility mode for Win XPSP3 no longer works in Windows 11. The installer ends with the font access error then when you finish it removes Quickbooks even though it was actually installed successfully.
Here's how to do it which works for Quickbooks 2000.
Set the install to run in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode, maybe as administrator for good measure.
When the font error is displayed do not quit the installer. Instead go to the program files x86 folder and make a complete copy of the install folder including all files. You may need to do this as administrator. Now allow the installer to finish and you will see it removes most of the install files. Copy the files back into the program folder from the folder where you have the copy.
Run the QBW32 exe file to have your functional Quickbooks.
