Service Interruption on Azure AD B2C – Germany West Region
Dear Azure Support Team,
We are currently experiencing a critical issue with the Azure AD B2C service in the Germany West region. A piece of code that has been functioning reliably for over five years has suddenly stopped responding. The service call does not return, and no errors are thrown, making it extremely difficult to diagnose or mitigate.
This mirrors a similar incident we encountered recently with Azure Speech Services, which was resolved a few days later—possibly following our inquiry. Unfortunately, we are now seeing the same behavior with AD B2C, and there has been no warning, notification, or service advisory indicating any disruption. According to the Azure status page, all services appear to be operational.
The lack of transparency and proactive communication is deeply concerning, especially as these issues seem to be affecting multiple services. This raises serious questions about the reliability of Azure as a cloud platform for delivering our solutions.
We suspect that a recent update may have introduced instability. If so, we strongly recommend rolling back or urgently patching the affected components.
We would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and any guidance or updates you can provide.
Thank you,
Here is the code
var userCollectionResponse = await graphClient.Users
.GetAsync((requestConfiguration) =>
{
requestConfiguration.QueryParameters.Filter = $"identities/any(c:c/issuerAssignedId eq '{email}' and c/issuer eq '{config.Tenant}')";
});
