Why Microsoft aims for destroying productivity and torturing users?

I've been a Windows user since Windows 95. For decades, I’ve trusted Microsoft to support my work, studies, and daily life. But over the past year, I’ve started to feel like Microsoft is actively working against its users—removing essential features, ignoring feedback, and making productivity harder, not easier.

Take widgets, for example. I relied on the MS To Do widget to manage my tasks efficiently. Without warning, it was removed. Then the calendar widget disappeared too. And what replaced it? Daily Wonder—a feature that feels more like a distraction than a productivity tool.

When I reach out to support, I’m met with the same endless loop:

• “Did you restart your device?”

• “Are you using a VPN?”

• “Is your system up to date?”

It feels like there’s a committee somewhere brainstorming ways to frustrate users and strip away what actually works.

This is the age of AI. If it’s too difficult to understand what users need, ask Copilot. Let it analyze usage patterns, gather feedback, and help restore features that people rely on. Don’t guess—listen.

Look at Apple. They prioritize user experience and consistency. Microsoft should do the same. Users are not inherited assets. If you keep removing what matters, people will lose interest—and switch.
