Hello,

A few days ago, while I had an active internet connection and was logged in, I carefully took many notes and wrote down research ideas on my tablet. Unfortunately, after signing out of my account and signing back in, these notes have disappeared.

I cannot find them on either my computer or tablet. I have checked the recycle bin, searched for misplaced notes, and looked inside all other notebooks, but nothing appears.

Could you please help me recover these notes? They are extremely important for my career.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Thank you,

I tried all the things you suggested but I cannot find my page.

I edited my page on my tablet. Then, when I switched to my computer, I got an error about signing in. I signed in and my notes were not on my note book. Later, I switched to my tablet and signed out and signed in... and my page was gone.... :(

How about OneDrive online? Go to: https://onedrive.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft account. Look under documents > OneNote notebooks. If your notes were synced before you signed out, they should be there.

You can also check OneNote recycle bin. In OneNote desktop: History > Notebook Recycle Bin.

If you are using Windows10:Right-click on the notebook name > View Deleted Notes.

On your computer (windows) Press Win + R, paste this path and hit Enter:

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\OneNote

Browse the folders, you may see cached notebooks not yet synced.
