Why can't I sign-in to my microsoft account from minecraft?

I'v been trying to sing-in to my microsoft account in minecraft but i keep getting " Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in. For more details, please see this link". I'v already changed my password and still keep getting the same message. All i wanna do is play minecraft on my playstation with my siblings

The error message you're seeing is typically triggered when Microsoft’s security system flags the sign-in attempt as suspicious or unusual, especially if you're signing in from a new device, network, or location. You've already taken the right steps by changing your password and reaching out to support, so thank you for your persistence.

1 - Try a different network or device as suggested:

Switch to a different Wi-Fi network or use mobile data.
If possible, try signing in from a different device (e.g., a PC or mobile browser).
If you're using a VPN, try disabling it and signing in again.

2 - Use a device code:

Open Minecraft on your PlayStation > Leave the screen opens on the error message.
On a separate device (phone or computer) > Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.)
Go to the Microsoft device login website: https://www.microsoft.com/link
Look for any 9-character code displayed on the PlayStation login screen.
Enter the code and follow the prompts to complete the login on your device.
Once you complete, wait for PlayStation to recognize and proceed.

3 - If the device code doesn't appear or work:

Go to your PlayStation's Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection.
Select your network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > click Clear
Your PS will restart > try signing in again to see if the code appears
If the issue persists, log into your Microsoft account at account.live.com
Go to Security > Advanced security options > Two-step verification:
- Turn it ON and have your method ready
- Or turn it OFF (if it's already on) to see if that is the cause.

If your Microsoft account was previously linked to a different PlayStation Network account, you may not be able to re-link it. Minecraft only allows one Microsoft account per PSN profile.
