To know more about the issue. Could you please provide the following details:
- What type of cluster are you trying to deploy (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.)
- Where exactly is your cluster deployed in Azure (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, App Services, etc.)?
3.Have you verified the network settings (e.g., VNET, subnet, firewall rules) in Azure to ensure that there are no network-related issues blocking the deployment?
4.Are there any specific dependencies, services, or configurations (e.g., custom Helm charts, Docker images) involved in the deployment that could be causing the issue?
5.Can you provide a screenshot or copy/paste the exact output you are seeing? What does "no meaningful error messages" mean? Are you seeing a generic "deployment failed" message, or is there absolutely no output at all?

2025-09-08T21:07:55.95+00:00 Hello Zweli Khumalo,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot as asked. The error message from porter UI indeed is not very clear for us as well.
Could you please try out the same deployment from Azure Portal or Azure CLI and let us know the error with what it fails?
Additionally, if the porter deployment uses a template/IAC, please share that code in the Private Message.

To better understand the issue and assist you further, could you please provide some additional details:
- Where is your cluster hosted? Is it deployed on Azure Static Web Apps, App Service, AKS, or another platform?
- Could you share the exact error message you’re seeing (from the browser, activity logs, or CLI output)? A screenshot or log snippet would be very helpful to understand better.
- What framework or stack are you using for your application (e.g., React, Angular, plain HTML, .NET, etc.)?
- If possible, could you also share details of your build configuration (e.g., output folder, workflow file, or deployment pipeline)?
This information can help me better analyse your issue and help you with the right guidance.
Thanks,
Rashmika

2025-09-10T04:24:33.13+00:00 I would much rather user porter at this point. My account is part of Startup Programe. Is there anything that would hinder provisioning services on poter?

2025-09-10T17:05:05.02+00:00 Hi Zweli Khumalo,
Azure Startup subscriptions, like Microsoft for Startups, often encounter restrictions when requesting quota increases, are often not eligible for quota increases, regardless of business need.

2025-09-10T18:34:02.5933333+00:00 Hi @Anonymous . I've been informed that s
tandard_A2_v2machine, and many others are not available for my subscription. Or any for machines for that matter. I've tried requesting quota increase, the UI doesn't work. -

It seems the current subscription under the Microsoft Startup Program has certain limits that prevent quota increases and provisioning services through the UI.
If this limitation is a significant blocker, please know I would be happy to pass your feedback along to the product team for consideration.
