I always get mirror image whenever I click an image using camera. Please let me know how to correct it.

This is because Windows does not natively give you an option to adjust the mirroring effect in the camera settings. The image you initially see in the camera preview is mirrored, but once you take the photo, it is automatically adjusted to display correctly, and this is by default for HP and a few models. However, this behavior can be adjusted in certain PC models or by using third-party apps like Zoom when taking video calls.

You can use third-party applications like OBS Studio or Manycam that allow you to control mirroring and orientation settings.

Option 1 - Use the built-in Camera app settings:

• Open Start > Search for Camera
• Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top corner
• Look for an option like:
  • Flip
  • Mirror
  • Display preview as mirror
  • Or anything similar
• Turn it off (or turn it back on if it's already off)

Note: If the mirroring is happening in an app (e.g. Zoom, Teams, …) you need to change the setting within that specific program. If you're using Webcam, check if you have built-in software. Many webcams come with their own control center that gives you more advanced settings than the Windows app.

Option 2 - Use third-party Camera software:

• Find a workaround if the default app doesn’t offer a flip/mirror toggle
• These apps often include advanced controls for orientation and effects

Option 3 - Manually flip saved images

• If you’ve already taken mirrored photos > choose Edit
• Click Crop & Rotate > Flip to correct the orientation
