Hello Bonni. This can happen when duplicate listings exist and Bing prioritizes the older, more established one, even if it's incorrect.
Can you check if the incorrect listing that shows up in Bing Search has a different business ID or link than your newest verified version?
- Go to https://www.bingplaces.com and sign in.
- On the My Businesses page, locate each listing you've claimed or verified.
- Click on each listing to open the Business Profile page.
- Look at the URL in your browser's address bar, the Business ID is in the URL.
Example:
https://www.bingplaces.com/dashboard/editbusiness.aspx?businessid=123456789→ The Business ID here is123456789.
Copy and compare the Business ID of the listing that appears in search vs the ones you are managing in your account. If the IDs don’t match, the one in search is likely a stale or unclaimed entry. Those are the ones that you need to merge or report.
