why my DDIStopDevice is called?

I am writing a driver for display adaptor. when loading my driver i can see that my DDIStartDevice() is being called and returns STATUS_SUCCESS. then my DDIQueeryChildRelations is called and returns STATUS_SUCCESS. but then my DDIStopDevice is being called.

I guess that the parameters i filled in DDIQueeryChildRelations made the OS unhappy, but i don't know what. how can i figure out why DDIStopDevice was called?
