How do I upgrade Windows 11Pro, and to what newer version?

I have Windows 11 Pro version 22h2. When I run Windows update it says "Your version of Windows has reached end of service... Get newer version of Windows to stay... " Not sure what newer version I should get?

Hi!

Windows 11 Pro 22H2, which reached end of service on October 8, 2024. That’s why you’re seeing the “end of service” message in Windows Update. Since you’re on 22H2, your upgrade path is:

Directly upgrade to 23H2 now (stable and widely supported).

Later this year, you’ll also be offered 24H2 through Windows Update.

Reminder:

  • Your license for Windows 11 Pro remains valid, you don’t need to buy anything new.
  • Minimum hardware requirements are the same, so your device will qualify if it already runs 22H2.
  • Always back up important files before upgrading since newer updates have few hiccups here and there (wifi driver issues, USB port issues, Outlook sync issues, etc.)

It's up to you if you really want to upgrade at this point. If everything is currently working and running fine you can stay. However, if you want to proceed just let me know so I can assist you further.
