I admit, as a middle aged bachelor who is having some financial trouble, I occasionally look at porn.
However lately I've been noticing that a lot of the time I'm getting censored results for searches as if safesearch was set to "moderate" even though it is set to off.
Sometimes doing a different search will give me adult content, but I can't figure out how to force it to give me the uncensored results all the time.
Any suggestions? I've searched, but I get a millions results telling me to either click on the little dropdown that says "safesearch" and set to off, which is already done, or to click on the hamburger, choose settings, choose safesearch, and set that to off, which is also already done.
Even toggling it to moderate and off doesn't help.
This only seems to affect video searches. Clicking on "web" will give me adult content, but without the filtering features such as being able to say "only 20 minutes+ videos" so get a lot of 30-second clips or otherwise short videos with web results. I know everybody wants to push the shorts because they have less overhead, but I don't want them.
Tools and settings that filter and block explicit or inappropriate content from search results.
I haven't even tried Edge except briefly to get the same results as Firefox. I use Firefox.
For that matter, I can't see how to adjust the family setting for filtering. The instructions here
keep looping me back to the instructions.
Hi! Most probable is that Microsoft Family is forcing SafeSearch across Edge and devices tied to your Microsoft account. If you’re in a family group, web filters may be on. Check family.microsoft.com and disable Filter inappropriate websites and searches.
Edge have policies that can hard-lock search filters. In Edge visit edge://policy; if you see ForceBingSafeSearch or similar, that’s the problem. Remove the policy (if it’s your PC) or use an unmanaged browser/profile.
Still no help
I am using Firefox and want the uncensored video results. Still I launched Edge and saw no such policy. Again Safe Search is OFF. Whenever I search this topic I get dozens of pages telling me to how turn Safe Search off with the hamburger menu but no further help when it says off.
Can anyone suggest an alternative besides Google that allows you to specify a minimum length without a maximum length and gives a preview?
No, I don't want "only shorts", I want to exclude shorts.
