Hi @Maha
Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of your Microsoft Teams notification issue. I understand how important it is to stay updated with your messages and channel activity, and I appreciate your patience while we work through this.
Based on your description, it seems that notifications are only coming through for calls, while messages and channel activity are not appearing across your Windows, Android, and iOS devices. Since you've already confirmed that all notification settings are enabled and your account is signed in on multiple devices, here are a few steps we recommend to help resolve the issue:
Step 1: Check Teams notification settings
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Click on Three dot menu (on top-right) > Settings > Notification and activity
- Turn off "Mute all notifications (except for calls and meetings)

- Scroll down and ensure all categories (Chat, Mentions, Replies, etc.) are set to Show in activity (and banner).

- For each channel:
- Click the “...” next to the channel name.
- Select Channel notifications.
- Set to All activity.
Step 2: Check device notification permissions
On Windows:
- Go to Settings > System > Notifications.
- Make sure Microsoft Teams is allowed to send notifications.
On Android/iOS:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Teams > Notifications.
- Ensure Show notifications is turned on.
Step 3: Disable “Block notifications when active on other Devices”
- Open the Teams mobile app.
- Tap your profile picture > Notifications.

- Scroll to Block notifications.
- Turn off When active on desktop.

Step 4: Clear cache and reinstall teams
On Android: (Setting could be different according to the manufacturer)
- Go to Hold the Teams icon > App info > Storage.
- Tap Clear Cache.

On all devices:
- Uninstall Microsoft Teams.
- Reinstall the app from the official store.
Step 5: Check Your Presence Status
- In Teams, check your status in the top-right corner.
- Make sure it’s not set to Do Not Disturb or Busy, which can suppress notifications.
If the issue continues after following these steps, please reply with:
- Screenshots of your notification settings.
- Confirmation of your current Teams status.
- Any error messages you may have seen.
We’re here to support you every step of the way and will ensure this gets resolved promptly.
